Kobolar (A wonderful place for off-season hiking.

The purpose of our trip is Kozirek waterfall. Why it was named so, it becomes clear at first sight. The stream of water falls down from a rocky ledge overhanging the ground with a giant canopy.

Water from a height of about 14 meters falls into a small clear lake, creating a water curtain under the rock. It is useless to look for any information about the Visor in guidebooks. No book does not mention it, as if it does not exist in nature. Perhaps this «mystery» is due to the fact that the Trump is an ephemeral waterfall, that is, it exists only in the wet part of the year. In summer it dries up almost completely.

Kobolar waterfallThe stream forming Kozyrek waterfall is called Kobalar, i.e. «caves» (koba — cave (Turkic), lar — plural ending). The name is connected with natural grottoes occurring upstream. Among them is the famous grotto Fatma-Koba, which once served as a dwelling place for people of the Mesolithic era (14-7 thousand years BC).
