It is a small village located in an amazing area on the Arabatska Strelka, which divides the legendary lake-liman Sivash and the Sea of Azov. At all times rest in Strelkovoy was popular among tourists who prefer noisy beaches calm harbors, promoted resorts more secluded and close to the pristine nature of the place, rest fatiguing rest revitalizing and energizing. Well, the natural attractions of Strelkovoye, its proximity to truly unique places give it even greater appeal among connoisseurs of true beauty.
Strelkovoye is the southernmost point of the Kherson region of Ukraine, it is located in the northern part of the Arabat Spit in 36 km from the town of Genichesk. The population of this small village is only about 1.5 thousand people, but in the warm season there are many more people here, as vacationers come from all over the country and abroad. But at the same time there are no such masses of tourists as, for example, on the South Coast of Crimea — even then it is quiet, cozy and peaceful.
This place is really unique: on both sides of the strip of land on which the village stretches, water bodies approach — on the western side of the Sivash, on the eastern side — the Sea of Azov, and on the territory of the land stretches virgin steppes, which have never known the plow and preserved the natural flora. As a result of such a combination of terrains, the air in the Strelkovoye area is a real healing cocktail, filled with ions of useful microelements of the Azov Sea and salty Sivash, odors of steppe grasses. Just resting here and breathing it in, everyone is charged with health and strength. It is also important that this village is the last, after him to the south towards the Crimea there are no other settlements, which means that here is the cleanest sea and less algae than near other settlements of the Arabatska arrow. The water in the area of Strelkovoye is crystal clear, and while swimming you can see underwater life with the naked eye.
Proximity to nature in Strelkovoye is harmoniously combined with a developed infrastructure — there are a lot of resorts and recreation centers for every taste and wealth, although in general living here is much more affordable than in Genichesk or Crimea.
