People come here for relaxation, recovery and new impressions of a real, quality and useful vacation.

Primorsk is located in an ecologically clean area in the south of Zaporozhskaja region of Ukraine, it is a small resort town with a population of only about 12 thousand people according to 2011. From the west to the city adjoins the sandy spit Obitnaya, falling into the sea for as much as 30 km and separating Berdyansky and Obitnaya bays. And in 30 km to the east of it is located Berdyansk, the southern part of which is also a sandy spit with the same name of the city. It turns out that Primorsk is located in a unique area — its bay is bounded by sand spits on both sides. The scenery here is truly impressive!

The foundation of Primorsk dates back to the end of the XVIII — beginning of the XIX centuries, although people lived in this favorable area before our era (ancient human settlements were found). Information about the first settlements on the lands where today the city rises, refer to 1770, but the exact date of its foundation is considered to be 1800. The development of Obitochnoye village, which was named in honor of the river flowing here, was connected with the fact that on its banks Duke Richelieu in 1817 began to build a port. This project was not destined to be realized — the place was chosen unsuccessfully (later the eastern shore of the present Berdyansk was chosen for the port), but thanks to him began the active development of a small village, which in 1821. was called a city with a new name — Nogaysk. In 1964 Nogaysk was renamed again — it gets its present name Primorsk, and by this time it is already a developed resort center, with many tourist resorts, children’s camps, recreation centers.

The fate of this place was so that the priority of Primorsk development immediately became exactly sanatorium-resort treatment, thanks to which to this day there are no industrial enterprises here, and nature remains clean, untouched. It is pleasant to come here with the whole family, to rest quietly and gain strength. The shallow depth in Berdyansky Bay makes safe bathing even for the youngest children, and the fact that the water warms up to 26 degrees in May is another serious argument in favor of this beautiful corner of Zaporizhzhya.

Today here provide spa services about 40 health facilities, and independent tourists can stay in the private sector — vacation in Primorsk is available to everyone, you can choose options for families with any level of wealth. Cafes and bars work at recreation centers and the central beach, in general in the city there are few, so it is dominated by a measured family vacation. Well, among the available entertainment — acquaintance with the local attractions of Primorsk.
