Chinadievo is called one of the most fabulous places in Transcarpathia. Everything surprises and delights here, starting from magically beautiful nature and ending with ancient architectural treasures. And also — it is one of the best health resorts in Ukraine, people from all corners of the country and even from abroad come here to improve their health, enjoying the magnificent views, ancient architecture, clean air and waters from healing springs, which are hidden in dense centuries-old forests.
The village, which since 1944 has been called «Chinadievo», was first mentioned in written sources under the Hungarian name St. Miklos (St. Nicholas) in 1214. Until 1726, the village was in the possession of Hungary and belonged to the Pereni family, and then after the suppression of the War of Liberation, Emperor Charles VI of Austria granted it to Count Erwin-Friedrich Schönborn. The Schönborn family owned it until the middle of the last century. The current name Chinadievo is associated with the fact that courts were held here, i.e. the local nobility «taught the court».
The settlement of urban type Chinadievo is located on the right bank of the picturesque river Latoritsa only 20 km away from Mukachevo surrounded by high mountains. The local nature is delightful — .

The uniqueness of Cinadievo lies in the fact that, as a small provincial village with a population of only about 7,000 people, it contains priceless treasures that many big cities cannot boast of. Not one, but two ancient castles, churches and other interesting sights have been preserved here.
The pearl of the sights of Transcarpathia, one of the most beautiful buildings in Ukraine is considered to be the Shenbourne hunting castle built in 1890 in Chinadievo. The palace is unique, built according to an interesting idea, and it is surrounded by a large landscape park of 19 hectares, laid in the early XIX century. Since the second half of the last century it was turned into a sanatorium, and since then rest in the walls of the ancient structure, admiring and impressive in its beauty, walks in the beautiful park with a large pond, century-old and rare trees have become available to all comers. Schönborn Castle is also called the Carpathian Sanatorium, and it is the most famous attraction of Chinadievo.
There is another castle in this small village, or rather — a fortress, which is much older than the Schönborn Castle. This is the Chinadievo Castle, or as it was called before — St. Miklos Castle, built in the XIV century. It is inferior to the Shenbourne palace in beauty, but no less interesting. 
Saint-Miklos Castle has retained its medieval authenticity: outwardly it looks gloomy and austere, stern and frowning, reminiscent of how turbulent life was in the Middle Ages.
Such attractions of Chinadievo as Shenbornov Palace and Chinadievskij-zamok-sjent-miklosh certainly already make the village a very interesting place to visit. However, this is not the only thing that the small village is ready to surprise its guests with. In addition to castles, there is also cult architecture, including Ilinskaja church of the XIV century, and not far from Chinadievo there is a noteworthy natural attraction — skakalo waterfall.
The village Chinadievo today can offer everything for the best rest, here are preserved ancient sights of Ukraine and beautiful nature, in its picturesque surroundings are open several sanatoriums, where you can improve your health and have a great rest. Such a vacation is remembered for many years, leaves the most pleasant memories.
