The museum was opened on July 21, 2012 during one of the main events of the motorcycle world — bike show-2012. Earlier the collection was located in the city of Dnepropetrovsk. The collection was collected for more than 30 years. museum expositionThe beginning of it was laid by Alexander Prokofiev, who was able not only to collect unique exhibits, but also to keep them in proper condition and, if necessary, to carry out restoration. Therefore, each exhibit has no more than three percent of new parts, mostly glass and rubber.

«All the cars are on the move, but for fire safety purposes all the electrics have been removed from them and now they are in a canned state,» says museum curator Andrei Sokolov. — The uniqueness of the collection is that on such a scale we will not be able to find anything similar in the entire post-Soviet space. There are mixed expositions, but such a complete exposition, which would represent the history of motorcycles, does not exist in the whole Ukraine and Russia. museum expositionEach motorcycle is unique in its own way. There are exhibits in the collection that even the heirs of the manufacturers do not have.»

In the future, the museum plans to expand and open new halls to house the rest of the collection. In addition, the organizers promise to carry out active educational activities and publish literature, where the materials collected over 30 years will be published.

«I would like as many motorcycle enthusiasts as possible to see these unique technical monuments of history,» says Andrey Sokolov. — A huge number of motorcycle tourists come to Sevastopol every year from all over the world, who will be interested to see the exclusive models».
