The museum «Gates of Kezlev» is attractive not only for its appearance. Inside the object there is a museum exposition familiarizing the residents and guests of the resort with the medieval period of the town’s history — when Kezlev was the most important port of the Crimean Khanate.
The basis of the museum exposition is a unique model of the Kezlev fortress (its dimensions are 5 m x 9 m), where the whole medieval town is recreated with music and light accompaniment with the accuracy of each house. Recently, the model became one of the three largest in Ukraine.
The map of the Crimean Khanate and ethnogenealogical tree of Crimean Tatars serve as an addition to the model, allowing to know in what state this city was located and how the people who inhabited it were formed.
The unique ethnographic corner will allow you to learn a lot about the history, traditions and rituals of the Crimean Tatars.
