The twentieth International Book «Publishers Forum in Lviv» — the most important and most expected in Ukraine book, literary, cultural event of the year will be held on September 10-14, 2014. In the framework of the «Publishers Forum in Lviv», as always — favorite traditional events, and a lot of innovations.
The purpose of the Forum is to attract public attention to the urgent problems of modern Ukrainian book publishing, to support the tradition of professional discussions and seminars. In recent years, within the framework of the Forum more and more related events are held, designed for mass audience and aimed at popularizing reading among children and young people. 
Not only famous Ukrainian and foreign writers and publishers, but also sports and show business stars, representatives of different branches of government, public, charitable and commercial structures are actively involved in cooperation with the Forum.
NGO «Publishers Forum» is constantly trying to expand its borders and holds a number of actions outside Lviv and directly outside the Forum itself. Such actions were «Territory of Freedom» (2003-2004) — a writer’s tour through 10 cities of Ukraine with the collection «Chain Nerves. 25 essays on freedom»; a number of book fairs, including the exhibition «Publishers’ Forum in the Verkhovna Rada» (2006), the exhibition «Publishers’ Forum in the Presidential Secretariat» (2006), the book fair in «Lavra Gallery» (Kyiv, 2008).
