Alfa Jazz Fest is an International Jazz Festival held annually in Lviv in June.
In 2014 the festival will be held on June 12-15. Headliners for 2013: Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Avishai Cohen with Strings, Till Bronner, Al Di Meola, Charlie Haden Quartet West and Bobby McFerrin.
Three big stages in the city. More than 100 musicians from around the world. About 30 hours of concerts. Master classes and autograph sessions of world jazz stars. Press conferences with the participation of musicians. 140 tons of stage structures. 82 tons of lighting and sound equipment.
All events of the festival will take place in the very center of Lviv, where ancient houses and ancient streets will be once again saturated with jazz and will become natural scenery of Alfa Jazz Fest extravaganza. Mixing together, jazz rhythms and warm wind of the first summer days will create a unique atmosphere of unforgettable urban charm.
All locations are located so close that, stepping lightly on the cobblestone streets of the historic center of Lviv, guests will not miss a note of the refined melodies of musicians.
