Every year Festival «Etnovir» explodes with bright colors and is the main event of the Independence Day of Ukraine in Lviv. During the festival there are colorful performances of groups, impressive marching parades of participants along the main streets of the city, presentation of cuisine of the peoples of the world. Friendship evenings and dance master classes are held in a warm atmosphere.
Folklore groups from many countries such as Ukraine, Mexico, Martinique, Israel, Macedonia, Portugal, France, Italy, Basque country, Republic of Burundi, Czech Republic, Poland, 
India and Spain, have already presented the culture of their country at the festival «Etnovyr».
International Folklore Festival «Etnovir» is held under the auspices of the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Traditional Arts (CIOFF) at UNESCO and the International Organization of Folk Art (IOV). Organizer — Public Organization «Etnovir» with the support of Lviv City Council.
