The traditional Cheese and Wine Festival is organized in Lviv. Visited by more than 10 thousand guests, have the opportunity to taste cheese and wine from more than 70 of the best producers of Ukraine.
At a large Cheese and Wine Fair present organic and natural products from the Carpathians, in particular TM «Taste of Ukrainian Carpathians», goat milk cheese TM «Fromages d’Elise» and products of other manufacturers. In just three days the guests of the Festival eat and buy more than 3 tons of cheese and drink more than 7200 liters of wine. A pleasant gift awaits all visitors, as the Celebration treats them to a free glass of wine!
The Great Grape Pressing traditionally begins with the opening of the Great Grape Pressing. Famous Lviv citizens crush grapes with their feet to create juice for the festival wine.
For the first time at the Cheese and Wine Festival and in Ukraine was presented a collection of clothing, accessories and paintings from wine corks Wine cork art style by Sergei Tkachuk. And Lviv artists Maria and Volodymyr Gavrish created a 2.5 x 1.5 meter festival painting with wine. In addition, the artists painted more than a hundred wine portraits during the Festival.
«Lviv Wine Mail» has already sent to different parts of the world 1345 exclusive wine Art postcards by artists Ivanka and Oleksandr Voytovych. It was a good opportunity to share your best impressions of the Cheese and Wine Festival with your loved ones wherever they are!
The Cheese Day is celebrated annually at the festival. TM «Dobryana» treats everyone with 94 kilograms of Lviv cheesecake. It is incredibly tasty!
An integral part of every Cheese and Wine Festival is exquisite tastings from leading wine brands. In 2013, 7 wine tastings were held, where more than 50 of the best wines were presented, including wines from Prince P. N. Trubetskiy’s Winery.
The general partner of the holiday «Lviv Candle Manufactory», which specially for the Cheese and Wine Festival made more than 300 unique souvenirs, and these are cheese candles, exclusive candle holders from wine bottles from wine barrels, also surprised.
Impressions will be a sea, will be happy and adults and children … Funny clowns of the Polish theater «Wagabunda», festival karaoke, various workshops, good music from the best Lviv bands and many other extravaganzas create a real atmosphere of an unforgettable holiday.
