There is probably no more wonderful vacation than a «wilderness» vacation: buckwheat porridge cooked in a kettle on the fire, cool evening sand, who knows how it got into the tent, sea sunset, awakening the most pleasant feelings with a slight touch of romance, and the noise of the waves for twenty-four hours. A fairy tale, that’s all! However, you can feel unity with Nature not everywhere. It so happens that every cell of the Crimean peninsula is peppered with entertainment centers, restaurants, bars, attractions, hotels, luxury hotels and other institutions for those who like to rest noisy, fun and comfort. However, «savages» should not despair, because on the Crimean land there are still a couple of places unconquered by civilization. One of these cozy corners is Koktebel Silent Bay.
Fans of «wild» recreation and adherents of the philosophy of nudism loved this place long ago and for a long time. The lack of entertainment facilities more than pays for the sandy spit, on which you can play a fun game of skeet or chase a ball, as well as the Crab Stone. This miniature rock is located about a kilometer from the shore right in the center of Quiet Bay. It is said to be home to an incredible array of mussels. It is quite possible that the hunt for these sea creatures will end with a gourmet dinner that can rival a meal in the most luxurious restaurant.
The vastness that has settled over the Quiet Bay is simply breathtaking! Here surprisingly 
true and good. It is possible to admire the Cimmerian land to the fullest, to throw enthusiastic glances at the sea surface and pensively study the brownish hills, in which the ravines, cut by water streams, are deeply embedded. A panorama of the jagged silhouette of Karadag opens from the quiet bay. If you look at all this beauty from the height, the ancient volcano will appear before you in the image of a giant lizard, carelessly curving its tail.
While telling about the Tikhaya Bay, it is impossible not to say at least a couple of words about the «dinosaur», which in the world is called Cape Toprakh-Kaya. In Russian — Cape Chameleon. Very often on maps this piece of land jutting into the sea is called Cape Yungi or Camp. It is strange, because there are no camps here. However, this is the business of cartographers. We have the most pleasant thing — to see the beauty of this attraction of Crimea.
Cape Chameleon, as a huge prehistoric animal, plunged into the water, divides two bays — the Quiet and the Dead. Don’t be frightened, the latter is called Dead only because 
that even in a storm it is unusually quiet here. Speaking of Chameleon, it is worth saying that there is probably no attraction in Ukraine that can compare with the cape in terms of the spectrum of colors. Every hour Chameleon Cape is different, it casts pink or blue, but delicate lilac depending on which side the sun is turned to it and how many clouds resembling air cakes are in the Coktebel sky.
If you decide to spend the night in the Quiet Bay and entrust your sleep to this attraction of Koktebel, Cape Chameleon will repay your trust in the same coin, showing itself in full glory. Interestingly, the photo on the background of this «cunning» cape want to take hundreds of tourists back home with them. That is why every year a huge number of feet step on the back of the Chameleon. Standing here, on the top, you feel an incredible burst of energy and try to greedily suck in the scents hovering over the Quiet Bay with your nose. By the way, the movie «The Man from Capuchin Boulevard» was filmed here, in the field near the bay. You must agree that in reality Quiet Bay is much more beautiful than the plywood town of the Wild West that once stood on this spot.
