In the center of Yalta on Kirov Street, 32, a large old mansion built in pseudo-Gothic style draws attention. This is the former dacha of Generaless K. M. Ilovayskaya «Omur» (translated from Crimean Tatar — «Life»), built in 1888. From October 1898 to April 1899 in this house in two rooms of the first floor lived and worked writer AP Chekhov.
