Every year Yalta hosts the International Arts Festival «By the Black Sea», the motto of which is «Summer. Yalta. Festival.»
Within the framework of the festival there is an international exchange of creative achievements, as well as effective international interaction of organizations working with children and youth in the field of art.
Festival objectives: support and popularization of talented performers’ creativity; international exchange of creative achievements; effective international cooperation of organizations working with children and youth in the field of art.
Collaboration between organizations working with children and youth in the arts.
Festival participants: groups and soloists (amateurs and professionals) of the following age categories: 6 — 10 years old; 11 — 15 years old; from 16 to 21 years old, from 22 and older
Genres: instrumental music — classical, folk, pop; choral singing; vocal — classical, folk, pop; author’s song; choreography; fashion theaters; circus and original genres; art reading.
In the program of the festival:
— Competitive performances of groups and soloists (phonograms «-1»);
— Concert performance of the best groups, teams and soloists in the final gala concert of the festival at the choice of the jury.
