Yalta Crocodilarium is a brand new attraction of the resort city of Yalta. Yalta Crocodilarium is a large exposition of the most ancient inhabitants of the planet Earth, which have not changed their appearance for many years, centuries and even eras.
The idea to recreate this ancient corner of the Earth on the territory of Yalta appeared at the directorate of Alushta Aquarium after the birth in December 2010, 77 Nile crocodiles. By this time on the basis of the Alushta Aquarium has already been collected a considerable collection of other species of crocodiles and turtles. In this connection it was decided to create a new home for this group of pets of the Aquarium, in which they could live and breed comfortably. 
Yes, yes, exactly to reproduce, as increasing the number of reptiles is the main goal of the Yalta Crocodilarium.
Yalta Crocodilarium has the largest species collection of ancient reptiles in Ukraine. At this exhibition visitors can see a variety of crocodiles, river and sea turtles, pythons, iguanas and varans. Among reptiles there are both small and large specimens (the largest in the world is the Nile crocodile).
In Yalta Crocodilarium, in addition to the above-mentioned Nile Crocodiles, there are other representatives of the family of true crocodiles. 
The most interesting Cuban Crocodiles, capable of complex collective interactions, and Crocodile Caimans, which at the onset of drought burrow into the mud and hibernate, will be presented to your attention. The Crocodilarium’s guests will also be impressed by the African Dull-billed Crocodiles and Schneider’s Caimans.
At the crocodile farm there are several representatives of the oldest species — Vulture turtles (two females). These individuals are the largest in Ukraine. The staff of the Yalta Crocodilarium are waiting for the appearance of offspring in the near future, as the female Vulture Turtle moved to the Crocodilarium already fertilized by a specially brought male.
A pair of Tiger Pythons can be found among the inhabitants of the Crocodilarium. Pythons, like the Vulture Turtles, are also some of the largest representatives in our territory. The length of each of them is four meters. Mating of individuals is planned. Unique is the fact that the female is the rarest Tiger Python-Albino.
The largest pair of Nile Varans in Ukraine, each of them is one and a half meters long, will also reside at the crocodile farm in Yalta. Employees of the Yalta Crocodilarium plan to start mating the Varans and a pair of Iguanas in the near future.
The most interesting species, which will rightfully take its place in the Yalta Crocodilarium, are Snake-necked Turtles. They are the owners of the longest neck among all their brethren. When snake-necked turtles come out of the water, the first to appear is a long neck, as if a snake is crawling out, and then comes the torso with the shell.
Also only in Yalta Crocodilarium you can see African Protoptera, the most cheerful turtle — Matamata, large Cayman Turtles, which have already given offspring in Alushta Aquarium.
