The small village of Yasinya all year round attracts tourists who want to relax among the pristine nature and see its beauty with their own eyes. However, especially many guests in Yasinya can be seen in winter — during the ski season, when lovers of active recreation from many parts of the country and abroad come here. In winter, the village and the ski resort of the same name working next to it become a real skiing mecca.
Ski resort Yasinya is located near the village at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level in a picturesque area between the Chernogorsky and Svidovetsky ridges. Very close to the base proudly rises the largest mountain in Ukraine — Hoverla, pointing into the sky for more than 2 kilometers.
Yasinya ski base is two small tracks and two elevators. The 400 meters long piste on Kostyrivka Mountain is perfect for all those who want to learn to ski or snowboard, in what instructors will gladly help. You can get to the beginning of the slope by a rope tow elevator from the very center of the village. The second piste with a length of 800 meters is located in the tract of Mlaki, 2.5 km from the center of the village, to its beginning you can also go up on a rope tow elevator. Due to the short length and gentle nature of the mountain slopes, the two slopes of the Jasinja resort are classified as primary and intermediate level of difficulty, so beginners in skiing often come here and gain experience in order to go higher — to the highest mountain resort of the country Dragobrat, the way to which starts from here.
Besides skiing and snowboarding in Yasinja everyone can not only go sledding, quad biking and snowmobiling, but also fly on a paraglider or a motorized hang glider. You can also go horseback riding, and local guides will be happy to conduct fascinating excursions to the local picturesque places.
