International winter sports center — Tysovets Ski Resort.
The ski resort «Tysovets» has everything that most skiers need. There are slopes for skiing of different levels of difficulty. Among them can be distinguished three main ones. One is a high-speed track, another is a mogul track, where extreme skiers and professionals ride, and the third is a slalom track with a medium level of difficulty. There is also a complex of ski jumps, tracks for cross-country skiing, biathlon and freestyle skiing, even a «balletnik» where you can practice ski ballet or watch competitions, which are held here quite often.
Since the piste for ski ballet is flat and gentle, it is used by beginners and students who take skiing lessons. Also for training and for inexperienced skiers is intended for the piste, which is located next to the hotel.
The elevators in «Tysovets» are of rope tow type. If you do not have your own skiing equipment, you can buy everything you need in a sporting goods store or rent it from a rental store. Near the slopes there are numerous cafes offering food and hot drinks. There are also gyms, a sauna, a bar and billiards.
You can stay in the ski complex «Tysovets» in a hotel or a cottage. There is a one and a half kilometer long cable car from the residential buildings to the ski slope. You can also stay in the nearby village of Oryavchik. There are hotels and rented houses and rooms that will provide you with an unforgettable holiday in the Carpathians.
