The young and actively developing Mountain ski resort «Play».
In 2007 near the village of Plavie opened a modern ski resort «Play». It owes its name to the mountain massif, which has the same name. From the beginning of the opening until now the complex is constantly growing and developing, which will eventually turn it into a year-round resort with many different functions.
When you arrive here, you can be accommodated in comfortable hotels. But if the room rates do not suit you, you can always find a suitable option among the proposals of the local population. Or settle in neighboring villages, which are very close to «Playa».
The slopes here have a universal character and will suit skiers of different level of training. So, for example, experienced skiers will be interested in the tops of slopes, because they are quite steep and difficult, and for beginners will suit gentle lower parts of the slopes. One rope tow and two four-chair elevators work on the slopes, which have quite rare for Ukrainian resorts function of seat heating. There are usually no queues on them, but in rare cases they are formed. However, it takes no more than 5 minutes to stand in them. The height difference on the slopes reaches 260 meters, and the biggest length of the piste is 1200 meters. The pistes are maintained by 14 snow cannons and a tractor.
