The distance from Balaklava to Cape Foros is a kind of «golden mile» of the Crimean peninsula. Places like here, there are only in the south of the Spanish kingdom. They mean the coast, nicknamed Costa Dorada by tourists. It begins in Catalonia from the town of Blanes and stretches along the delta of the Ebro River along the lands of Tarragona. At the border with France, the Spanish «golden coast» logically passes into the French Mediterranean Riviera.
Just like the best Spanish coast, our Crimean Riviera is characterized by extremely picturesque landscapes. These are the southern slopes of Baidarskaya, Ai-Petrinskaya and Yalta yaila, close to the Black Sea itself. Just like on the shores of the Spanish Kingdom, the southern coast of the peninsula is located in the zone of subtropical type of climate, nicknamed Mediterranean. This means that choosing a vacation in these parts, tourists can count on summer heat, not marred by a single rain, and winter mild-soft, humid and foggy weather.

The entire coast of Crimea, from Balaklava to the cliffs of Foros, like a pearl necklace, consists of beautiful beaches. Curiously enough, they are really similar to pearls, because each beach is located on the territory of its own mini-beach, bounded by a crescent of slate and quartzite cliffs. Each local beach is beautiful in its own way, but the leader of the TOP of the «most picturesque» recreational sites is recognized as «The Lost World».
This beach is located at a distance of 3.5 km from the throat of Balaklava Bay. He is the last «pearl» in the succession of the so-called group of «beaches of Sevastopol». But unlike the nearest Balaklava, this one is covered with good coarse-grained sand, not with fine and sharp pebbles. Maximum remoteness from civilization — then comes the protected zone Aya Cape, and the ideal coverage turned the «Lost World» into a Mecca and Medina for nudists.

Another attractive feature of the Lost World, as a naturist destination, is that it is difficult to access. Walking along the mountain path is not available to every tourist, so Babylonian pandemonium, as on the beaches of other Crimean resorts, here is impossible a priori. A few dozens of people is the anthropogenic maximum of the «Lost World».
Rare guests get to this wonderful beach with the help of tiny boats. In Balaklava this mode of transportation is as popular as in Venice gondolas. A great number of boats and motorboats with different displacement are parked right on the Nazukina embankment.
After walking for a few minutes along this exchange of «sea cabs», the guest will be able to find a transportation that satisfies him with its price and availability of additional services — fishing, excursion. The colorful captain will instantly start the engine and, leaving Balaklava Bay, will take the guest to the east — to the «Lost World». Such holiday in Balaklava can afford almost any tourist, because this resort is not as hyped and mega-popular as holiday at Foros. Therefore, the price for the «use» of the clean sea, Mediterranean climate and immersion in numerous historical and battle sights of Balaklava will be much lower than the pleasure received.
