The founders of the oldest Ukrainian ski resort «Krasiya» were ordinary enthusiasts who loved skiing very much. It was about thirty years ago and they started with the installation of a ropeway and rope tow elevator. The variety of slopes here is not accidental, because the place for the foundation of the complex was chosen very carefully. As a result we have now gentle and steep sections, ravines and jumps, and virgin land, and slalom, and absolutely straight slopes. And all this is in ideal natural conditions. There are six elevators working on the slopes — half of them are chairlifts and the rest are rope tow elevators. Also «Krasiya» has the longest ski track in Ukraine, its length is three kilometers. Snow cannons supply the slopes with fresh snow, and they are processed by a tractor.

In the last ten years the infrastructure in Krasija has been actively developed. Thanks to this there are a large number of hotels, cottages, restaurants, kolibas (traditional restaurants), cafes and bars. Even one hotel was made right on one of the stations of the cable car. There are also many places where you can rent ski equipment. Professional instructors teach beginners how to ski and snowboard properly.
«Krasiya» is located in the heart of Transcarpathian attractions. Among them you can distinguish thermal springs, marble caves, cheese factory, vineyards, monasteries and ancient castles. Regular excursions are organized to all these places. In the evening you can visit discos, restaurants, saunas and many more different kinds of entertainment.
