In one of the corners of the Ukrainian Carpathians near the Uzhok Pass is one of the priceless sights of the region - the Wooden Church of St. Michael the Archangel.

The authors of St. Michael's Church remained unknown - their names have vanished into oblivion. All that is known is that they are the same craftsmen who built the well-known church in the neighboring village of Sukhoi.

St. Nicholas Church was built of spruce logs according to the scheme typical for any house construction of the Boyks, one of the most original and distinctive Carpathian ethnic groups. It consists of three log cabins, the shapes of which are maximally approximated to a square.
