The festival was founded in 2005 in the city of Rakhiv (Transcarpathian region). The date and place of the festival were chosen not by chance. Well, where else can one celebrate the Europe Day in Ukraine as best as in the very center of our continent? And since the center of Europe is located in Rakhiv, it did not take long to think about the venue.
The festival will be held in the open air. The festival annually invites both Ukrainian and foreign performers. For its short history festival «Europa-center» has already managed to visit such groups as «Dazzle Dreams», «TOK», «Atmasfera», «Second River», «Perkalaba», «Gorgishelli», «Lesopilka», «Criminal», «Hutsul Calypso», Katya Chili, Viktor Pavlik, Oksana Bilozir, Boban Markovich Orkestra (known all over the world for their soundtracks to the movies «Arizona Dreams», «Underground»).
