Among the amazing beauties of the ecologically clean Tiligulsky estuary and the Black Sea coast, the team of talented winemakers of PJSC Koblevo Winery has been creating some of the best Ukrainian wines for more than 30 years. «PJSC «Koblevo» is part of the structure of the largest alcoholic holding «Bayadera Group».
The splendor of wines produced in Koblevo is due to the nature itself: mild continental climate with low snowy winters and hot dry summers, generous land, location on the 46th parallel — the same geographic latitude with the famous French region of Beaujolais — create all the conditions to grow excellent grapes here.
The first vineyards near the Tiligulsky Regional Landscape Park in Koblevo were planted in the 60s of the last century, occupied 1100 hectares and were the raw material base for the leading enterprises of the country. In 1980, on the basis of the state farm «Russia» began construction of a winery with a total capacity of 20 thousand tons of grape processing per season. Production at the new enterprise started on October 4, 1982, and in 1984 the second stage of the plant was launched.
In 1998, after the reorganization of the state farm-plant «Russia» in JSC «Koblevo», the enterprise became the first in Ukraine, where they installed an Italian bottling line of grape wines. A small line with the capacity of 3 thousand bottles per hour from Bertolaso company gave a start to the all-Ukrainian fame of TM KOBLEVO.
In 2001 the assortment of products manufactured by «Koblevo» was supplemented with unique natural vermouths TM Marengo, nowadays confidently leading in its segment.
In 2004 a complete reconstruction of the shop for grape processing was carried out — four modern lines of the Italian company Della-Toffola with a total capacity of 160 tons per hour were installed. At the same time the bottling line was expanded, and in 2006 another modern bottling line Bertolaso was installed. All this allowed to significantly increase production volumes while maintaining the highest level of product quality.
The most modern technologies are implemented in vineyards. Seedlings of elite varieties are bought in Italy, France, Germany. Young plantings are laid according to the modern scheme, widely used in Europe: 3333 seedlings per hectare. Chasing grape bushes — one of the important stages in obtaining high-quality grapes — is carried out by chasing machines Trimmer company Relleps (France). Ripe juicy bunches for wines, the technology of production of which provides a longer contact of grape skin and juice, are collected by grape harvesters of Gregoire company (France) with the capacity of up to 100 tons per day. For elite varietal wines, grapes are harvested exclusively by hand.
The vineyards now cover thousands of hectares and their varietal palette includes the most exquisite varieties: Aligote, Rkatsiteli, Traminer, Chardonnay, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bastardo, Merlot and others. Production volumes exceed 45 million bottles of grape wines, vermouths and wines in Tetra Pak packaging per year. According to experts, KOBLEVO wines have long maintained absolute leadership in the Ukrainian market in the middle price segment.
In 2010 a modern bottling line of Tetra Pak (Sweden) with the capacity of 8 thousand packages per hour was installed at the plant.
The enterprise constantly improves the production process to maximize the preservation and bring to the consumer all the usefulness of natural grape wine.
Thus, in 2012 a cold sterile wine bottling line was installed. The advantages of this technologically complex method are obvious — only with the help of low temperatures and careful microfiltration it is possible to preserve in wine its natural properties and biological value.
Today at PJSC «Koblevo» the newest equipment from the world’s leading manufacturers is used, innovative European technologies are applied. The best masters-winemakers create here true masterpieces of winemaking art: exquisite wines KOBLEVO (lines Select, «Sommelier» and «Bordeaux»), refined wines Bon Vin, unique vermouth Marengo, plum wine TAKADO and wine in Tetra Pak packaging — «World of Natural Wines».
The highest quality class of all products produced at «Koblevo» is repeatedly confirmed by the highest awards of authoritative international and national competitions: Business Initiative Directions Paris; Trade Leaders’ Club Paris, Geneva, Madrid; «Prodexpo» Moscow; «Alco-Soft» Kiev; «Choice of the Year» Kiev and others.
