To stay afloat in the recreational business, every modern resort must have its own zest. If a settlement, except for the sea and climate, is not lucky enough to have any outstanding natural landmark or architectural object from the UNESCO list, it should either close … or organize a festival. For example, who knew about Sopot, Jurmala or San Remo before these resorts started hosting cool international music festivals?
Not thinking long, the village of Koblevo, previously known only for its winery and discos, organized on its territory festival «Koblevo!». In the world it is called the Festival of Beach Arts or the Festival of Great Recreation. Both names are equally beloved by locals and are used equally in the promotion of the event.
The «Koble-Vo!» is held in the village with the same name. The main purpose of the festival is to popularize recreation in the village of Koblevo in the country and abroad. Additional — to attract tourists to the Black Sea coast in general and the Nikolaev region in particular. In addition, this festival informs the general public about local producers and popularizes active recreation, namely beach sports.
Traditionally, the festival is held in three days, at the end of August, before the Independence Day of Ukraine. The first day of «Koble-vo!» begins with the opening of the sailing regatta. After the sailing ships are on the road, the beach volleyball championship games begin. Further on the press conference is gathered musicians and accredited journalists, thanks to whom the fame about the festival and Koblevo should spread around the world. The evening of the first day ends with the «Funny Heat» cup raffle between KVN teams, a fireworks show and a performance by a good local rock band.
The second day in «Koblevo!» begins with a sand sculpture contest. Throughout the day there is a sailing regatta and beach volleyball championship. In the afternoon they gather the «Press Club of the Black Sea sharks of the pen», where they are allowed to joke and make fun of the Ukrainian pop stars, who are lukewarm from the heat and wine. In the evening the spectators are pleased with the defile of the contestants of the beauty contest «Black Sea Queen». Late in the evening and throughout the night the stage passes into the hands of young musical groups playing diverse rock and ethno-rock, smoothly passing into «dancing on the sand».
What offers vacation in Koblevo on the third day of the festival? First of all, competitions for extreme athletes. For example, races on mattresses or diving without the use of technical means. After that, star musicians play beach volleyball with accredited journalists. This is instead of the traditional press conference. After that, all those who dared to visit the Black Sea coast are invited to the closing ceremony of the festival, which ends with a grand concert of the best domestic rock stars. In the world of Ukrainian festivals «Koblevo!» is characterized by a rich program and a special friendly atmosphere.
