The idea of holding a festival of television cinema arose due to the fact that many projects of fiction and non-fiction films are created on television, and teleforums, where you can see the best works and determine their artistic quality, aesthetic priorities, in today’s television production, do not exist. They are evaluated only by journalists. A fierce, competitive struggle, which accompanies the format of film festivals, there is still no. This is why the initiative group came up with the idea of a television film festival, which will be the first such forum in Ukraine.
The films presented at the festival can be diverse in form and genre.
The first main competition is a creative competition of feature TV films. The second competition program.
The purpose of this festival is to raise the professional and cultural level of the television process, to promote the quality production of television product based on spiritual, moral and patriotic values.
The place of the festival is chosen the city of Truskavec, Lviv region, with the desire to popularize the resort itself, to get acquainted with the unique natural corners and original culture of Western Ukraine. It is not without reason that the centers of the most famous international film festivals are world resorts — Karlovy Vary, Baden-Baden, Locarno, San Sebastian and others.
The festival is planned to be annual and international with the participation of countries from near and far abroad.
