Universal Trostyan mountain, for skiers of any level
From the center of Slavske to Trostyan Mountain is only two kilometers, so it is not difficult to get there. You can get to the elevators by local special cab, which here has a full drive. Usually they are GAZ-66 or UAZ. If you have your own four-wheel drive car, you can drive it as well.
The height of Trostyan mountain is 1232 meters. Its upper part has rather steep and difficult slopes (40-50 degrees). According to the international classification, they are classified as medium and difficult. A little lower, at an altitude of 1050 meters, the slopes are more gentle (30-35 degrees) and they are classified as amateur and beginner level of difficulty. In total, there are 11 trails on the mountain with a total length of 22 kilometers.
The mountain is served by seven elevators. On the western slopes there are three rope tows with the length of 800, 1000 and 1050 meters. These slopes are used by beginners, as the slopes are quite flat and there are no bumps on them. The northern slope is served by one rope tow elevator. Its length is 1200 meters. Experienced skiers and sportsmen ski here, as the slopes are quite difficult and it is dangerous for ordinary skiers to ski here. The central part of the mountain is served by one chairlift 2750 meters long and two rope tow elevators 1100 and 1150 meters long.
There are several small cafes on the mountain. You can see them on every slope. They offer delicious food and various drinks, even alcoholic ones.
