Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord (Church of the Most Holy Eucharist)

Location: с.Волосянка, Сколевский район, в 7 км на юг от с. Славское.
How to Get There: By train or electric train Lviv-Mukachevo through Skole to Slavske village. You can also take a shuttle bus or own transport on the international highway M06 "Kiev-Chop" and at 116 km (from Lviv) turn left, then drive first 22 km along the territorial highway T1424 to Slavske, and then another 7 km to Volosyanka village.

Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord (Church of the Most Holy Eucharist) A new large wooden church was built in the center of Volosyanka, and the old Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord — a monument of architecture of national importance, which is located above it, in the cemetery, is practically not used (services are held here only on major holidays).

Before World War II, its patrons were the brothers Baron Gredli from Skole. It is known that before the Second World War the outstanding father Michael Revakovic from the ancient Revakovic family lived, worked and ruled in Volosianka. He was a well-known figure in hunting circles in Austria-Hungary and later Poland, and had a number of diplomas and commemorative medals for large trophies from European exhibitions.

Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord (Church of the Most Holy Eucharist)The church is a three-story, three-bricked church with small wings attached to the nave. Baths are completed with blind lanterns with bow-shaped domes. The walls have small windows, under which a porch is arranged along the perimeter. On the eastern side it is supported by pillars. Opposite the main entrance is a wide, squat bell tower. Near the church is an old cemetery overgrown with weeds.

Since the shrine no longer serves the community, its appearance is appropriate, though not the worst.
