On the city hill, in the old rather picturesque part of Alushta, rises The Temple in the name of all Crimean saints and Theodore Stratilat. In ancient times it was here where the city began, but now new buildings have changed the appearance of this amazing corner.
The history of this architectural monument has more than 150 years. It was built at the command of Count Vorontsov, and the project was developed by the famous architect from Odessa G.I. Torricelli. In 1842, on November 30, the day of St. Andrew the First-Called, the church was consecrated. During the years of its existence, the structure of the church experienced ups and downs. In the 60s of the twentieth century, the religious building was finally closed and made into a club in its premises. Perhaps, we would never have seen this amazing and unusual temple, if not for the residents of the city, who wanted to preserve and restore the pristine appearance of this architectural monument. 
The present appearance of the temple was already in the 80s of the twentieth century, thanks to all concerned people and residents of Alushta.
The sights of Alushta are very diverse, but the Temple in the name of all Crimean saints and Theodore Stratilat stands out among them. All the matter is that the architecture of this building is not peculiar to the Orthodox religion, it is very similar to a village church in England and built in the Gothic style. Right above the entrance to the temple rises an amazingly beautiful three-tiered bell tower, very unusual and picturesque looking on the background Mount Demerdzhi. The wooden doors of the central entrance have unique carvings, and the facade is decorated with a mosaic icon of Theodore Stratilat.
In this temple, besides its unusual architecture, there is another rare and amazing thing. In it there is a very rare icon depicting the Cathedral of Crimean saints, it is located on the south wall, to the right of the altar. The icon depicts many saints and among them there is the face of Theodora of Surozh, the princess-monk, whose name is associated with another attraction in the vicinity of Alushta — Mount Kastel. V. Blinov painted this icon in 1988, for the day of All Crimean Saints.
A visit to this temple will leave no one indifferent, neither believer nor atheist. This is an amazing in beauty and unique in content temple, restored on the initiative of the parishioners and residents of Alushta.
