A pleasant addition, and maybe even a reason for a vacation in the sunny capital of the southern coast of Crimea is the International Arts Festival «Zori Alushta», which is held in the city in the first days of summer. For a few days the coast of Alushta turns into a festive arena for performances of groups from all over Ukraine and abroad, and the guests of the city enjoy the opportunity to diversify their vacation, becoming spectators of a fascinating show.
The International Arts Festival «Zori Alushta» was established and held for the first time in late May — early June 2011. It is still very young, but already during its first edition the organizers realized that this is exactly the kind of event that all residents and guests of the city lacked. It is a celebration of the beginning of summer and a celebration of art, making Alushta even more cheerful and sunny.
The participants of the first festival in 2011 were choreographic groups from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus, brass bands from different cities of Crimea, including the military band of the Black Sea Fleet. The opening of the festival took place in the form of a solemn parade and procession along the main streets of the city, the groups showed fascinating shows in front of a large audience, which earned a great applause.
The festival features both classical and contemporary music, pop and jazz compositions, pieces, marches and medleys. Musical numbers are accompanied by the performance of choreographic groups, various original and interesting shows. Dance groups also present choreographic numbers in various styles: classical, modern, pop, folk and others.
The jury of the festival «Zori Alushta» — are famous figures of culture and art, who evaluate the performances and award the participants with prizes. The closing ceremony is marked by solemn and festive events, in which both spectators and contestants, as well as invited artists participate.
The coast of Alushta during the festival is a festive, cheerful place. Large-scale theatrical actions, grandiose festive program attract all guests and residents of the city.
The work on creating a unique image of the festival continues, and every year its organizers — the Ministry of Culture of Crimea and city authorities, plan to make it even more interesting and large-scale, attracting delegations from different countries of near and far abroad, Ukrainian pop stars, the most popular and creative creative creative teams of Ukraine.
