In Ilyichevsk and Odessa at the end of August the International Art Festival «Province by the Sea» will start. The organizers of the festival set themselves several goals: the formation of a single cultural space that unites poets, novelists, musicians, artists and photographers from different geographical locations; strengthening of creative ties between different cities and creative associations; attracting new talented participants to creative associations.
As the organizers note, the festival can be put in the Guinness Book of Records, as during two and a half weeks more than 30 events will be held. In addition to many interesting meetings — poetry evenings, presentations and master classes, the festival will please lovers of beauty with an evening of video poetry, performances, photo exhibition and an exhibition of artists 
«Province by the Sea», exhibition of handmade dolls, bookstore of writers, bookcrossing («Leave your autographed book and take away your favorite one») and «free microphone». A landmark element of the festival is the poetry contest, to which authors from many countries — Ukraine, Russia, Canada, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Tajikistan, Moldova — send their works. The festival will end with the presentation of the festival literary collection.
At its «birth» the festival «Province by the Sea» was planned as a holiday only for residents of the city Ilyichevsk. But over the years, the level of creativity and professionalism of its participants has increased. Thanks to this, it has outgrown the limits of its city and entered the poetry venues of Odessa.
