In order to identify gifted poets and prose writers, artists of photo and drawing, author’s song, literary — artistic compositions, attracting children to literature and journalism, popularization of their works, drawing attention to their creativity on the part of patrons and sponsors, the public and organizations, enterprises, institutions in the village of Mezhgorie. Mezhgorje, in Transcarpathia, on the basis of the local vocational school hold International Festival «Rekit constellation».
It brings together many talented children of different ages from different parts of Ukraine, in particular Donetsk, Lviv, Odessa, Poltava, Rivne, Crimea. And talented children from Poland, Russia, France and other countries of the world take part in it in absentia.
Guests of honor are also arriving, including Hero of Ukraine Tetyana Balagura, Honorary Consul of France in Kiev Daniil Yarema, poetess, deputy chairman of the Ukrainian «Boheme in Chicago» association Olga Tsaritsanska, and others….
At the festival participants are welcomed by the organizers of the festival, headed by the rector of the Small Academy of Literature and Journalism Vasyl Tarchintsya, a native of the village of . Rekity, Mezhgorski district, whose efforts traditionally organize this event. In this he is actively assisted annually by a member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, honorary professor and vice-rector of MALiJ, deputy chairman of the Transcarpathian regional organization of the People’s Party Andriy Durunda, who is also a native of Rekity village. If earlier the review involved only young novelists, poets and reporters, now there are already 7 nominations, in which added artistic photo, author’s song, drawing, literary-artistic composition.
Almost every contestant, and there were almost 300 of them, demonstrated great talent. No participant of the festival was left without an award, having been honored with a commemorative medal, diploma — certificate, gift.
During the festival for talented children organized recreation, children from different parts of Ukraine visit picturesque places Mezhgore. There have been hikes in the mountains. Participants visit the open-air museum «Old Village» in the village of . Kolochava, Sinevir Lake, Shipot waterfall, brown bear rehabilitation center National Park Sinevir, tourist Pilipec and many other picturesque corners of green-eyed Verkhovyna.
