The entertainment and tourism industry of the ancient city was replenished with a new unusual means of transportation — on the streets of Lviv appeared the first in Ukraine beer bar on wheels. This unusual transport, the prototype of which was a motorized picnic table, invented a few years ago by Dutch brothers Svir and Henk Van Laar. On the platform of the velobar, in addition to the table and seats for beer lovers, there is a barrel of beer with a pouring system and a foot mechanical drive. The authors developed several variants of their invention, differing in capacity, construction and design. Their brainchild quickly gained widespread popularity among beer lovers in many cities in Europe and the United States.

The Lviv bicycle bar was designed by Adam Shezinsky. At the wheel of this unusual machine sits a tour guide, he is also a bartender. To make the velobar move at the necessary speed, its visitors must pedal their bicycles in friendship. Lviv tourists — beer lovers are offered to make a sightseeing tour around the city center. Combining pleasant socializing, drinking and physical activity, small groups of tourists get acquainted with the sights of the city along the way.

Unusual transportation aroused great interest among the residents and guests of Lviv. Obviously, all the charm of new excursions can be felt in good warm weather and when the streets of the central part of the city will be repaired. In order to avoid traffic accidents, it is advisable to conduct these excursions on weekends and holidays, when the central part of the city is closed to motor transport.
