At the end of last year, a competition was announced for the creation of an interesting and exciting route around the Crimean Peninsula. According to Olga Burova, deputy minister of resorts and tourism of Crimea, the project’s task is to attract travelers and holidaymakers to the peninsula not only during the beach season, but throughout the year.
Those who wish were offered to think over and present tours from one day to a week and more. It is important to take into account the seasonality for the developed route, the possibility of settling in holiday homes in Crimea, as well as not to forget about the popularization of cultural and historical sites, regardless of their fame. Among the announced nominations are seasonal tours (fall, winter, spring), routes of military-patriotic significance, etc.
At the press conference held in Simferopol, Olga Burova reported on the upcoming presentation of the route of literary and musical themes called «Golden Ring «100 Wonders of Crimea».
The route involves visiting places associated with the name of Vladimir Vysotsky. In such cities as Alushta, Simferopol, Yalta, Sevastopol, Bakhchisarai tourists will be shown the most significant objects that relate to the famous actor and singer. The first tourists are expected by mid-February, when the route will be launched.
The presentation will be held on one of the festival days of the event «Vladimir Vysotsky. Through Time… Crimea. Sevastopol». According to the plan for Alushta is 4 days, for Sevastopol — 3. Arriving in Simferopol tourists from the airport will be sent on a tour of the city. The first places that are going to show the organizers will be a monument to Vladimir Vysotsky and the literary lounge, located in the Pushkin Library. Five literary meetings are expected to take place along the route.
According to Valentin Kornienko, who is in charge of the festival, the significant event for the peninsula is scheduled for the end of January and will last 4 days. As part of the festival, two exhibitions will be shown, which will help to learn deeper and closer about the work and life of the bard. The presentation of the exhibitions, which will be delivered from V. Vysotsky’s house, which is on Taganka, is entrusted to Nikita Vysotsky, the poet’s son. Tourists will also be offered interesting excursions, performances will be shown, concerts will be held.
