At the meeting of the Ukrainian board of the Ministry of Tourism and Resorts, which was held on May 17, the head of the city of Alushta said that city embankment and beaches in a reconstructed form will be reopened one day before the summer — May 31.
The members of the board were informed about the pace of preparation for the holiday season. This was reported by the city head, Stanislav Kolot and Viktor Fradkin, who is acting as the city council’s business manager. Within the framework of the meeting the official results of preparation for the holiday season were summarized as of May 15.
As of the current day partially performed work on the restoration of the sewer collector. The retaining wall was restored and the beaches were poured. About 25 thousand tons of crushed stone were poured on the beaches. As a result, the original beaches became wider and more spacious. Further improvement of the beach line will be continued in the fall season, when the main flow of tourists will recede.
Any tourist can buy a trip to the sanatorium Alushta today, because the beaches open on May 31 in a new updated form and there can be no worries. In comparison with last year the entertainment program will be more saturated, and tourists are planned to take even more.
The mayor of the city took under his control all the work. It is planned to completely eliminate all the consequences of the storm to the opening of the city beaches. In the area of Alushta today there are 92 beaches. In the recent past, most of them were paid, but over time the state apparatus has worked through this issue and, if in 2009 there was only one free beach, then today there are 12.
To date, the city authorities see an unsolved problem in the seasonal work sanatoriums Alushta. With the arrival of winter, most of them are closed, and the rest are not even up to the tourist minimum. In order to solve this problem is a special campaign program to change the image of the city for the better.
Recall that on February 7-8 in the city of Alushta damage in connection with a difficult meteorological situation affected the coastline. Part of the coastal structures were destroyed. On the current day, all the damage has been eliminated, and the city beaches are in order in accordance with resort standards.
