A renovated embankment reconstructed in Koktebel will open in Crimea on June 1. The opening is reported by the Minister of Resort and Tourism of Crimea Alexander Liev. The Minister believes that Koktebel will become a center of tourism and recreation this year.
It is known that the embankment of the village is divided into three parts. The first, already known to be repaired and landscaped, along with the square at the house of Voloshin. The second part, including boarding houses, are actively preparing for the upcoming holiday season, for vacationers. New and renovated boarding houses in Koktebel will become places health in the Crimea new visitors. They are ready to receive them and attract new interesting tours.
Economically expensive and important third part, continuing up to the mountain Yunge, is being reconstructed to this day. Roads and bridges are being repaired and parapets are being installed.
The community of the village and local authorities continue to collect funds for the reconstruction of the embankment. Local businessmen also took part in its financing. With their help about 600 thousand hryvnias were collected. According to the head of the village council S. Glebov, it is planned to spend up to 2 million hryvnias for the improvement and reconstruction of the embankment.
As S. Glebov’s deputy told, new zones and places of rest will appear on the reconstructed part, as well as playgrounds will be equipped, a concert area with a stage will be built. There are areas for creating a souvenir market. Besides there will be places for resort demand. Also the possibility of spontaneous trade will be eliminated. Places of trade, according to the new scheme changed and were dislocated behind the review part of the embankment. The new scheme was approved by the Council of Ministers of Crimea.
During the visit Sergey Glebov mentioned the reduction of trade points to five hundred. S. Glebov said that on April 23 the first competition is scheduled, where places for trade will be distributed.
To ensure security, it is planned to install video cameras throughout the site, organize round-the-clock security of the embankment.
From the budget of the AR Crimea will be allocated one million hryvnias for the repair of another embankment in Sudak, partially destroyed by the storm that took place at the beginning of spring.
