Kharkiv "Superior Hotel" was opened


The first capital of Ukraine is preparing to worthily meet and hold the final games of the European Football Championship EURO-2012. The guests of the city and the organizers of the championship are ready to receive the first five-star hotel in Kharkiv, which meets all the high requirements for hotels of 5 stars category. On November 29, 2011 on Akademika Kurchatova Street, 1A there was a solemn opening ceremony of the Superior Hotel , which meets the highest world standards of the hotel business. This hotel and the stadium «Olympic» will be part of the training base of the championship participants. The authors of the project of the official hotel EURO-2012 are architects British John Sifert and Ukrainian Sergey Yakovlev. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Boris Kolesnikov, the chairman of Kharkiv regional administration Mikhail Dobkin, the chairman of the regional council Sergey Chernov, the mayor of the city Gennady Kernes and other officials.

According to the vice-president of «Superior Golf Club» Irina Sapronova, «Superior Hotel» is an exclusive boutique hotel of «Luxury» class. To ensure successful and fruitful work of organizers, correspondents and guests of the final soccer games, the hotel has a business center, which includes three meeting rooms, a hall for business events. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools, numerous aqua cabins, beauty salon, solarium, sauna, treatment rooms and gym will help the guests to improve their physical and mental well-being and restore lost strength. A winter golf center and several tennis courts are located on the territory of the hotel.

The hotel complex was built under the program of private and state partnership; it includes 50 comfortable rooms and is located not far, within 20 minutes drive, from the historical center of Kharkov on the territory of «Superior & SPA Resort». The total area of the hotel complex is 9850 square meters, and the volume of investments in construction — 210 million hryvnias. On the same territory on December 14 of this year also opened the largest in Ukraine new five-star hotel «Kharkiv Palace», which will house the headquarters of UEFA and «target» groups of this European soccer organization.

The organizing committee of the hotel expected the arrival of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych to the opening ceremony, but due to difficult meteorological conditions at Kharkiv airport the visit was canceled.
