An unrepeatable night in "Shevchenko's hai"

Information about the ethno-museum

The ethnographic museum occupies part of the area of the Znesenje Park, which belongs to the historical and landscape complex. The idea to create a museum was conceived in 1930. That was the year when the St. Nicholas Church from the village of Krywki, Turkivsky district, built in 1763, was brought to Lviv. The church served as the first exhibit for the new museum.

The feeling of being in the environment of the distant past will be served by more than fifty estates located here, uniting about 120 architectural objects. Much work has been done to present Podolia, Hutsulshchyna, Polesie, Boykivshchyna, Lemkivshchyna, Volyn, Zakarpattya, Pokutya, Bukovyna, Lvivshchyna.
