One of the most visited by tourists cities in Ukraine is ancient Lviv. Ancient streets, amazing beauty of Orthodox and Catholic churches, ancient architectural structures, theaters, museums, art galleries, preserved traditions of the Ukrainian people leave the guests of this city of paradoxes and mysteries indelible impressions. Here the tourist infrastructure is constantly improving, the network of tourist firms is expanding and new offers on the program of acquaintance with the sights of the city are being developed. And now to the beginning of the European Football Championship «Euro 2012» for the residents of Lviv and its guests are planned to conduct evening and night tours of its museums, theaters and art galleries. In order to attract tourists on December 2 and 4, 2011 was held the first action called «Night Lviv». In the future, these excursions should become a regular large-scale tourist service. The excursions will be conducted by famous theatergoers, museum workers and other qualified specialists.
The head of the promotion department of the City Council of City of Lviv Halyna Malets said that for promotional purposes the next free campaign «Night Lviv» will be held in June next year. Since the end of June 2012 night excursions to cultural institutions of Lviv
will be held permanently, the composition of the objects of excursions will be significantly expanded. Note also that in accordance with the project «Night Lviv» since the beginning of December 2011 in Lviv restored popular night excursions — mysteries in Lviv dungeons, dedicated to the history of paganism and Christianity.
