In many cities of the world, often visited by tourists, there is City Card — a very popular tourist loyalty card, the owner of which is provided with numerous advantages and privileges for the time of familiarization and study of sights, historical and cultural monuments of the visited region.
Kyiv became the first city in Ukraine to implement the City Card program, the main purpose of which is to attract tourists and improve the quality of their service. Since May 25, 2013 the sale of Kiev tourist card Kyiv City Card (KCC) has started. The cost of an individual three-day card is 200 UAH. For 400 UAH a group of up to four tourists can buy a three-day and one tourist a seven-day loyalty card.
Over time, it is planned to issue VIP City Cards, which will be valid for 90 and 365 days. Kyiv City Card is accompanied by a special booklet, which shows the main sights of Kyiv, as well as restaurants and hotels, where the discount for cardholders is available. Holders of the tourist loyalty card will be able to visit popular museums and excursions of Kiev free of charge, get discounts on bus tours, walks along the Dnieper and other types of tourist services. You can buy a KCC card at 8 tourist information points in the central districts of Kiev and Taras Shevchenko Park, as well as through the website citycard-ua.com. In the near future the loyalty card will go on sale in museum kiosks, airports, railway stations, souvenir stores, etc.
