Nature reserves - Chernomorskoye

Bakalskaya Spit is a sandy spit going into the sea for 8 kilometers! It separates Bakal Lake from the Gulf of Karkinit and forms a unique area.

In the IV century BC Greeks founded a city here and called it Happy or Beautiful Harbor. Translated into the language of Homer it sounded like "Kalos Limen".
