In the old empire, coffee, cakes and chocolate were very much loved. Be sure to order a piece of cake from more than a dozen of their names — you will feel what Austria-Hungary tasted like. Among the cakes are especially good «Cardinal» made of meringue, with cream and almond nuts; «Drunken Cherry» — with chocolate and cherries in sherry brandy; «Queen of Chabot» — nutty, with «Charlot» cream and chocolate.
